Location near to the outskirts of the city, and vineyards and wine-tasting down the road. Helpfulness from the whole stuff;))

The service was excellent, there was an outstanding Michelin star restaurant, and the location was perfect, just a short walk to all the places we wanted to go to.

Magnificent, ideal location in the nice quiet area. Very easy to get from Baden airport, just 15 km. Comfortable bed in a well decorated room.

The breakfast was savoury, the staff was really helpful, the grounds were fairly clean. The room was large and good sized and newly decorated with balconies when I arrived. As for me, the location was exceptionally nice, close enough to Baden-Baden, Black Forest, Strasbourg and many other interesting villages and towns, bus stop in scenic area and vineyards and wine-tasting down the road. It also was close to the Rothenburg market square.

The hotel facilities were perfect, huge room with vineyard views. Free parking, AMAZING breakfast. Owners were welcoming, helped with trip. Highly recommended!

There was nothing I didn't like.

We loved the large and clean room with a balcony and the light spacious bathroom. The staff of the hotel was most friendly and they made us feel at home! The breakfast was the best ever and we had it in a terrace garden!The location was beautiful, near the Schwarzwald. The best winery of the area was about 100 meters down the road, in a beautiful castle.

Good location not far from baden baden .Very good staff give us filling like family.The room is big and comftable.I Think ill visit there again.

The property seemed fairly clean and the room was very pretty and bright. We ate at a PLEASANT restaurant with good German food. Kind staff and the location was great and beautiful. The hotel was a suitable place for enjoying a beautiful area. Loved our stay, and would consider staying here again.

Nothing not to love.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the Black Forest, nestled in a beautiful area perfect for sightseeing. The value for money here is exceptional, with reasonable prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is evident, from the well-decorated rooms with flatscreen TVs and amazing views, to the very nice terrace and balconies available. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay. Don't miss out on the breakfast, as it is delicious and satisfying.

The fact that the restaurant is closed on Thursdays... However, we were recommended another restaurant close-by and we had a nice dinner there.

The altenberg hotel is located in a wonderfull area in the wine road of the schwartzwald. The family that runs the hotel is very kind and assistance in every thing you need. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Altenberg in Baden-Baden. The value for my money was excellent, with a spacious and clean room. The location was peaceful and the staff treated me with kindness and helpfulness.

The breakfast option could be improved with a greater variety of choices.

Amazing!!! Beautiful location amidst vineyards/wineries. Excepional staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet included & fabulous dinner meals available for a reasonable price as well.

It's a 10-min drive into Baden-Baden but we had our own car & Navigation system so super easy. Bus was available as well but figured it would take us longer to get into town so we chose to drive.

We loved the central location of this hotel near the lively market square. The very good restaurant was a highlight for us, as was the helpful reception team and modern renovated rooms with comfortable beds. Although it was a short visit, we appreciated the suggestions on what to see in the area and the delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of options to choose from.

Some aspects of the hotel felt outdated and could use some renovation work.
